Barbara Louise Leiding is a John Hughes Award winner (2nd Place) for Dancing with Jou Jou (comedy/live action or animation).

She was nominated for a Fade In Award for The Zen of Otto (thriller with a soul).

Recent scripts include: Hula (dramedy/LGBTQ); The Devil Plays Bingo (horror/comedy); Blue Moon (action comedy/fantasy); and Mayday Sings for Her Supper (comedy/live action or animation).

She studied screenwriting and novel writing at NYU, USC and at writers’ conferences in New York, Los Angeles and Hawaii.

She earned a B.A. in communications from University of Colorado at Boulder.
